2019: Release of the final version of the solution

On November 18, 2019 "1C Company announced release of the final version of the solution "1C: The center of administration" which since July, 2018 is a part "1C: Corporate instrumental packet 8".

"1C: The center of administration" represents tools for automation of standard scenarios of administration and operation of the information systems constructed on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform. The product is intended for the specialists operating information systems.

As the developer, "noted 1C: The center of administration" contains a set of the most widespread scenarios of automation, ready for use. Among them:

• installation, updating, removal of the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform;
• downloading from the website of user support (releases.1c.ru) of distribution kits of updates of the following products:
  • technology platform "1C:Enterprise 8";
  • applied configurations;

• * PostgreSQL;
• updating of a configuration to the required version;
• start of external processings;
• change of settings of a circuit copying of files of settings;
• configuration change of a server cluster of "1C: Enterprise".

At the same time the user can create own and change the existing scenarios of automation according to specifics of tasks on different projects and also design from simple scenarios more difficult, emphasized in 1C.

According to the developer, "1C: The center of administration" gives the following main functionality of work with scenarios:

• start of scenarios of automation in the test mode (control of correctness of the scenario, an environment, settings without state change of a system);
• start of scenarios of automation in an operating mode (state change of a system);
• automatic rollback of scenarios in case of failure;
• planning and tracking of works in the calendar;
• separation into automation circuits (projects) within which it is possible to separate accomplishment of scenarios and access to different blocks of automation;
• report generation about the performed works (the check sheets, summary statistics, etc.);
• mass start of scenarios of automation in parallel on a large number of machines;
• creation of own scenarios and options of setup of deliverable scenarios;
• connection and use of any interpreters for start of own scripts of automation.

"1C: The center of administration" consists of a managing part – a uniform workplace of the administrator – and the performing part installed on computers of the automated circuit. The distributed product structure allows to execute mass transactions of administration of the large distributed circuit, for example to update the version of the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform on all servers.

According to the statement of the developer, "1C: The center of administration" can work and as the independent program, and as a subsystem of the application solution. Managing part "1C: The center of administration" it is delivered also in the form of a separate configuration, and in the form of expansion of a configuration which can be included in any applied configuration working at the 1C: Enterprise platform of the version not lower than 8.3.14.

Features of use "1C: Center of administration", mentioned by the developer:

• reduction in cost of ownership of a system due to reduction of labor costs on its administration;
• reduction of time of updating for new versions of the platform and configurations;
• reduction of risk of errors of administration at accomplishment of problems of operation of a system due to standardization of scenarios;
• process automation of testing of versions of a configuration before updating;
• the single interface for status monitoring of accomplishment of administration tasks of all circuit.

"1C: The center of administration", according to the developer, will be useful at implementation and operation of large corporate information systems with a large number of jobs and the distributed structure of a circuit:

• CORP-implementations;
• the large distributed circuit with a large amount of information bases and servers;
• the large distributed information base, for example retail network.

In comparison with the last update of the beta the listed below changes are made to the final version of a product:

• Commands and scenarios:
  • the structure of commands and the scenarios designed from them is unified. For storage in base of different settings of one scenario or a command the updated reference book "Options of Settings of the Scenario" is used that allows not to store and not to accompany several copies of one scenario with different parameter values, unlike the previous versions;
  • at accomplishment of "A scenario copy" in the interface the log of the performed scripts is displaid;
  • for convenience of filling of templates of parameters types of the parameters "Number", "Date", "Boolean", "Directory", "File" are entered;
  • for templates of parameters the feature for dynamic calculation of parameters using functions of work with dates is added (calculation of current date at the time of the beginning of accomplishment of a step and its use in scenario parameters);
  • the RemoteAdministration http-service allowing to start and control accomplishment of scenarios from the outside is added.

• Scheduler of tasks:
  • as actions of the scheduler elements of the reference book "Options of Settings of the Scenario" are used;
  • one more type of the At Start trigger allowing to initiate task performance of the scheduler at start of the machine is added.

• Loading of delivery and deployment:
  • the set of scripts and scenarios is delivered by one archive that simplifies loading procedure;
  • scripts, as well as deliverable scenarios, are loaded into information base in the reference book "Scripts and Scenarios" where they can be supplemented and edited the built-in text editor or through the relevant set IDE. Preparation of a set of scripts for deployment is also executed of the user interface;
  • the possibility of editing deliverable commands and scenarios is closed. Customization is offered to be executed, creating own "Options of settings of the scenario" of the deliverable scenario. Scenarios and teams formed manually (adding new or copying existing, including delivered) are not limited regarding editing and change.

Transition from the beta to the final version does not require special actions and is executed regularly updates of the version, noted in 1C.

"1C: The center of administration" consists of the following separately installed components:

• managing part (uniform workplace of the administrator);
• the performing part;
• deliverable data.

As of November, 2019 the product is delivered only with the Russian-language interface. Description "1C: The center of administration" it is included in documentation on "1C: To a corporate instrumental packet 8". The 1C:Enterprise 8 platform and licenses are not included into delivery of a product. For use "1C: The center of administration" it is necessary to have the main delivery of "1C: Enterprise" and the client license. "1C: The center of administration" is included into delivery of products "1C: Corporate instrumental packet 8" and "1C: Corporate instrumental packet 8 NFR". The price of products remains the same.

Users who purchased earlier "1C: A corporate instrumental packet" also have the current agreement 1C:ITS, will receive the final version "1C: The center of administration" when updating "1C: A corporate instrumental packet" to version 2.1.5 or above.
