2019: Unification of business processes using Microsoft Dynamics NAV

The system integrator and Navicon developer on November 22, 2019 announced implementation in Arima holding which specializes in production of home appliances, IT solutions of MS Dynamics NAV 2018. Within the project the integrator created a uniform circuit of automation which will allow the staff of the company more effectively, than earlier, to manage business activities: production, supply chains, customer service and finance.

Products of Arima holding provided more than in 40 commodity categories extend through the whole country and also in countries of Eastern Europe and the CIS. Such large, complex and geographically distributed structure of the company demanded from its management of acceptance of exact management decisions in a short time.

However long time for accounting and controlling of resources of the company, treasury and management of work with clients the staff of holding used separate software products. Each of them was responsible for separate process therefore it was difficult to receive the broad picture of business activities and to make the weighed strategic decisions.

Uniform ERP system on the Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018 platform replaced with itself local IT solutions which were used in divisions and departments of the company for management of finance, logistics and work with clients. The financial module which allows to execute and analyze financial transactions became a core of the integrated system. Connection to it provided full automation of such business processes as planning of deliveries, the analysis of structure of cost value, the reporting under budgets.

The flexibility of the software solution allowed not only to standardize all key business processes, but also to save at transfer on the platform of practice, creating additional value for holding.

The implementation project of Microsoft Dynamics NAV was implemented by Navicon system integrator which has extensive examination in work with solutions of Microsoft company.

When implementing the project we tried to use possibilities of standard functionality of MS Dynamics NAV and to minimize the number of completions of a system. For this purpose specialists of Navicon participated in upgrade of business processes of Arima and adapted them for the ERP system. It allowed to implement IT solution in short terms and at once to bring it into operation, – Sabrina Mironova, the head of the St. Petersburg branch of Navicon IT company noted.
