As a result during the qualifying tournament of Euro cup between the Netherlands and Estonia some fans could pass on stadium without the printed ticket - it became possible thanks to a blockchain and [[]]. The barcode went directly through the application and could be activated, only when the buyer was near stadium during a certain period.

Such approach practically excludes sales opportunity of tickets in the black market. Besides, such sales process of tickets through a blockchain system can confirm the personality of the fan who comes on stadium that helps to fight against fraud. Nevertheless, according to rules of Football association the ticket can still be transferred to other person - also through the application.

Potential of blockchain technologies on fraud prevention with tickets attracts not only stadiums and football clubs. In 2018 UEFA announced that it uses blockchain technology to interfere with replication and duplication of tickets. Earlier in 2019 the ode the Dutch firm GUTS Tickets used a blockchain for sale of tickets for a performance of a popular local star of Guus Meyvis in June, 2020. Later the Telecharge company announced sale of tickets for the Broadway shows using a blockchain platform.[1]
