SmartMesh IP

Product
Developers: Analog Devices
Technology: Internet of Things of Internet of Things (IoT)

That it

  • It solutions of a wireless mesh network for application development of IoT working in severe industrial conditions (for example, the plants, buildings from metalwork with concrete walls, etc.).

For what

  • The problem of delivery of data with high reliability is assigned to a wireless mesh network of SmartMesh (> 99.999%) from different sensors for many years, without requiring intervention of the person/engineer.

Facts

As the network is arranged

  • Each ordinary node in network is wireless and easily added.
  • Each node in network is the router and is capable to accept and transfer data to any node within reach.
  • All nodes contact the central processing computer or a cloud through a special network host manager.

Specification of a radio channel

On average, communication range between two wireless nodes of network reaches:

  • 100 m indoors;
  • 300 m on the street with obstacles;
  • 1200 m on the street in direct visibility without obstacles.
  • Frequency range: 2.4000 - 2.4835 GHz.
  • The specified frequencies and emissive power meet requirements of nelitsenzireumy ISM of frequency range.

Where the SmartMesh IP network is applied

  • Tracking of a status of objects in tough radio-frequency environments: extensive metal and concrete, including industrial enterprises, data processing centers, monitoring of commercial buildings, bridges, tunnels.
  • Tracking of a status of objects in tough radio-frequency environments: (long networks) applications of the street parking, intelligent networks of street lighting covering several city quarters, commercial irrigation, mines, the pipeline.
  • Tracking of a status of objects in tough radio-frequency environments: applications with dense deployment where thousands of nodes work within an available radio communication from each other, for example: subsidiary solar farms, networks on moving vehicles, including railway cars, cargo containers, semi-trailers, cargo aircrafts.
