At the end of November, 2019 Facebook started Viewpoints service which users will be able to earn from passing of polls and participation in researches. Thanks to this project the American company intends to improve work of the services, including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Portal and Oculus.

Besides, Viewpoints is urged to lower a negative impact of social networks and to increase their advantages, said in the blog of Facebook.[1]

By November 26, 2019 Viewpoints is available only to inhabitants USA aged from 18 years. The application should earn in other countries in 2020. It is available to mobile operating systems iOS and Android.

To participate in researches in Viewpoints, the user needs to have an account of Facebook, to enter a name, the e-mail address, the country of accommodation, a floor and date of birth at registration. Affirms that these data will not be transferred to the third parties, to be on sale or be published without the permission.

Users of Viewpoints receive points which after increase them to a certain quantity can be exchanged for money for task performance and passing of polls and to bring them through PayPal.

Participants of service can see how many points need to be gained for carrying out payment and also how many points are costed by passing of this or that poll.

Having gained, for example, 1000 points, remuneration in the amount of $5 will be paid to users. Facebook says that on one poll about 15 minutes leave. Withdrawal of money can take up to 10 days, and points are stored on the account within 5 years.

Facebook promises to notify users in advance on for what information gathers and as the company will use it. At the same time it is unclear how the company intends not to allow to service of minors.[2]
