2025: Construction of a warehouse complex with robots and AI systems for 10 billion rubles
By the end of November 2025, a wholesale distribution center was built in the Simferopol district of the Republic of Crimea for 10 billion rubles. The commissioning of the facility is scheduled for December 2025.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Crimea, the area of the entire complex is 58.9 thousand square meters. m, of which 52.7 thousand square meters. m allocated for storage facilities. As part of the project, compensation for construction and installation costs in the amount of 1.2 billion rubles is provided. After the launch of the facility, 950 new jobs will be formed, according to the official Telegram channel of the department.
The capacity of the center allows you to simultaneously place 60 thousand standard pallets with goods (pallet meter). The total volume of the storage area reaches 102 thousand cubic meters. m. The center will involve robotic systems and technologies with AI elements. According to the Telegram channel of the Crimean Ministry of Industry and Trade, Russian equipment accounts for 92% of the entire technical filling of the facility, which contributes to strengthening the technological independence of the region.
Oksana Dobrorez, chairman of the profile committee of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea, and Mikhail Domoratsky, a participant in the Heroes of Crimea personnel program, also took part in the inspection of the construction site. The project was implemented by Pud.
The Minister of Industry and Trade of Crimea Anushavan Agajanyan also visited the new facility and commented on the progress of the work. A center of this magnitude represents a major step forward for the peninsula's trading industry, Aghajanian said. The minister stressed that the project not only creates jobs, but also contributes to strengthening the regional infrastructure, being equipped with the latest Russian equipment.[1]
