2019: Development of RFID solutions for tracking of product lifecycle for Android

On October 26, 2019 the company "Aytiproyekt" announced creation of the mobile software solutions allowing to trace product lifecycle from production before write-off using manual mobile RFID- the readers working under management OS Android. The complex of software products includes the following mobile applications: Mobile Tracking, Mobile Logistics and Mobile Asset.

As noted in Aytiproyekt, Mobile Tracking is developed for tracking of the objects participating in production processes, including parts and component parts, the equipment, vehicles, people, etc. In Mobile Tracking the following functions are implemented:

• control of movement of objects in a production process;
• object search on a parameter value or any sign;
• manual movement of objects;
• control of a complete set of the products including a set of objects;
• inventory of objects;
• access control of objects (component parts, vehicles, people, etc.) in production zones of the enterprise.

Coding of RFID tags in Mobile Tracking is performed according to GS1 standards or industry European standards. In the course of coding memory of a tag is closed by the password for protection against unauthorized change of information written in a tag and coding of the user memory blocks is executed. The finished product which becomes goods, is transferred for tracking to mobile application of Mobile Logistics where receives a new tag in which GS1 GTIN96 product code registers. According to the developer, Mobile Logistics maintains the following functionality:

• management of warehouse transactions, including acceptance/shipment, return, inventory and movement of goods between warehouses;
• coding and check of the coded tag;
• search in a parameter value or any sign;
• creation of tasks and reporting documentation directly on the manual mobile computer (data collection terminal), or loading/unloading from/in an information system;
• control of carrying out/movement of goods on zones.

After the goods are sold/is purchased, it acquires the status of a fixed asset, or inventory item, and further it accompanies the Mobile Assets application which executes the following transactions with support of standard documents:

• coding of a RFID tag according to GIAI-96 standard, or on accession number;
• check of coding of a RFID tag;
• search in a parameter value or in any sign;
• control of movement of a fixed asset (inventory item);
• manual movement of a fixed asset (inventory item) on location;
• access control;
• inventory of fixed assets (inventory items);
• issue/return of property to the responsible person;
• fixed asset transfer (inventory items) between legal entities within holding;
• support of service works: accounting of transactions of maintenance and repair;
• creation and management of sets.

Thus, according to the developer, all these three applications completely cover product lifecycle, beginning from production, finishing with sale, operation and service. As of November, 2019 solutions support manual RFID readers Zebra, Nordic ID and Chainway. Installation and a software setup on mobile devices is automatic without additional programming. In case of need the user can modify settings via the intuitive interface.

Integration of mobile RFID solutions, including ERP, MES, etc., happens to information systems of the company (enterprise) through ITProject RFID Server set per host computer.
