On November 18, 2019 Fujitsu announced the beginning of sales of the solution Security Solution AuthConductor v2 which is intended for passing of authorization in the computer by means of biometrics.
Support of several biometric technologies allowing to distinguish the user on fingerprints, drawings of veins and the person became feature of the new version. Besides, verifiability of the personality in the national My Number system is available to the Japanese users.
The solution provides authentication in different platforms and applications, saving from need to enter the password. Drawings of veins are stored on the server and can be used for the different purposes, including for login on the PC, input the login and the password in the systems of printing and physical access.
The producer claims that connection of function of recognition of the drawing the vein to the business systems intended for work with clients, time of verification can decrease on value to 50% in comparison with normal products.
In Fujitsu Security Solution AuthConductor v2 authentication performance for consumer services, including for payment systems is increased.
The technology maintains broad scalability and therefore it can be applied both in small firms, and in the companies by about tens of thousands of employees.
At first the Fujitsu Security Solution AuthConductor v2 system is released only on the Japanese market. Its emergence in other countries is expected within 2020 financial year.
Fujitsu expects to earn in three years from this product 15 billion yens (about $138.2 million at the rate of for November 18, 2019).
According to forecasts of Fujitsu, company will continue to integrate different methods of biometric authentication, including for login into the PC and access controls to premises even more to increase convenience and to lower operational loading in corporate settings.[1]
