Announcement of the module of face recognition of Macroscop

The Satellite Innovation company, the resident Klastera of information technologies of Skolkovo Foundation, developed the software with function of face recognition which can be used practically in all spheres of business. On June 11, 2020 the Skolkovo Foundation reported about it.

The Macroscop system integrated the most demanded tools of video analytics based on face recognition: time recording of employees, calculation of unique visitors and others. At the same time the biometrics stopped being the separate expensive solution, and entered basic functionality of the software for video surveillance. Such solution allowed to make projects with function of face recognition almost ten times more available.

It is considered to be that intellectual video surveillance, including, face recognition, is something bulky, expensive and therefore applicable only in a narrow circle corporate giants and public institutions. We want to dispel this myth. Every year the world becomes more and more technological therefore it is time for face recognition to turn into category not of just useful, but available tools for business.

The module of face recognition Macroscop works with an accuracy of 99.9%. Due to application of neuronets of deep learning it precisely identifies people whose faces are covered by scarfs, headings, helmets, earphones points and a bang. The module is capable to distinguish at the same time to 100 persons in a frame, has the unlimited database by the number of persons, allows to look for people in a videoarchive according to the photo and also to configure "black" and "white" lists. Besides a system can set reactions to emergence in a frame of specific people — for example, to send adequate notices to the mobile phone or e-mail, to CRM or a security system.

Face recognition - very promising technology for business and everyday life: "smart" cameras already use in retail, construction, medicine, housing and public utilities, during creation of gadgets. The biometrics allows to increase service rate, to increase quality of the provided services and to reduce their cost, it does services convenient and simple in use. Macroscop started a video analytics packet for prevention of a coronavirus

The developer of the intellectual software for Macroscop video surveillance systems, the resident Klastera of information technologies of Skolkovo Foundation, within fight against COVID-19 started a video analytics packet in April, 2020. Detectors allow to define lack of a medical mask on the person and to count the number of people in queue.

The Macroscop company developed the software which can be potentially useful in fight against spread of a new coronavirus and any other infection.

Alexander Korobkov, CEO of Macroscop: "The situation with a coronavirus is global, it integrates mankind. Everyone aims to make something useful to society. Our deposit: everything that at least can potentially help to resist to spread of an infection, we give free of charge. It concerns the new module of detection of lack of masks, integration of thermal imagers. And if it saves though someone's life, we worked not for nothing".

The detector is intended for identification of people without masks in zones where use of individual protection equipment is necessary. At the same time the module can define up to 10 people in a frame, at the same time face recognition is not made. The detector will report if in a frame there are people without protective masks (using SMS, the PUSH notification, an alarm on the monitor or letters) that the operator of a system took measures for violation elimination. The detector of lack of masks is available in Macroscop of versions of LS, ST and also in Macroscop ULTRA. The module is provided free of charge.

Along with it the company suggests to use the detector of accumulation of people (or calculation of people in queue). The video analytics defines the number of people in sight of the camera and sends the notification if there is too much them. Such software can be useful in shops, drugstores, the airports, shopping centers. Having received the notification, the operator of a system informs personnel that for customer service additional employees are required.

One more detector - empty shelves - helps shops to hold goods available and to save loyalty of buyers. Having detected the shelf with the level of the goods which were less set the module will send the notification to the administrator that that corrected a situation.

Description of VMS Macroscop

The interface of the VMS Macroscop program is intuitive, allows to configure quickly a system from any number of servers and IP cameras and to instantly find the information required by the set parameters. With Macroscop significant savings on the server hardware are reached.

In the program exclusive development of Macroscop – technology of the video analysis in a compressed video flow without its complete unpacking thanks to which load of computing resources decreases to 4 times is implemented.

Macroscop allows to use any IP cameras. As of November, 2019 Macroscop supports 5630 models of IP cameras of 168 producers from Abron to Zavio.

Macroscop simply allows to find also quickly interesting object or an event, using functions of search in date, time, the object size, provision in a frame, the photo, to the person, object signs, the direction of the movement, car numbers, inspection zones and the crossed lines, transactions at the checkout. Program capabilities extend at connection of add-on intelligent modules and integration with the ACS and RPE systems.

Possibility of processing of video flows from 300 IP cameras on one server

According to information for June, 2019 Macroscop is the software developed for IP cameras which, according to developers, allows to try to obtain increase in data processing rate by 4 times and to process on one server video flows from 300 IP cameras.

2016: Macroscop Ultra is optimized for video systems of big scale

In Macroscop Ultra specialized options are implemented, are especially demanded in large-scale video systems. Using this complex it is possible to create complexes for the solution of different tasks and scale, at the same time the number of cameras can be unlimited. Specific Features:

• the option of duplication of archive on several winchesters will allow to increase reliability of preserving of information significantly;
• chat. Implementation of such function will give the chance to system administrators and operators to exchange settings and office messages;
• creation of the videowall without use of additional utilities and products. Jobs can be configured by interactive drag and drop of images from cameras.

Software it is capable to save twice resources of server devices in comparison with the normal version of Macroscop. Besides, in it the same intellectual functions, as in the basic version of software will work (viewing movements, interactive search, recognition of numbers of vehicles, identification of the left things and many other things). Also will be available the web client and free applications.
