2019: Closing of service
At the beginning of December, 2019 it became known of Bringly closing. Marketplace of Sberbank and "Yandex" ceased to take orders after a year of work.
Alas, we do not take new orders any more — it is reported on the website of service. |
On the homepage of the website there were "hits of sales" and goods on categories, however it is impossible to add to cart them more. The platform also did not take part in "Black Friday".
As the representative of Yandex.Market reported RBC, the company intends to focus on development of online store of Beru now and to make in his framework an experiment with cross-border purchases.
All orders which clients made will surely reach to receivers. All clients who for any reason did not receive goods will receive money back. All questions can be asked about already made orders to a support service which continues to work and respond to each appeal — reported in "Yandex". |
Bringly was created as a certain alternative to the popular Chinese platform of AliExpress, it was supposed that using service Russians will be able to order goods from abroad, not only from China. Marketplace cooperated with online stores from South Korea, China, Great Britain and other countries.
In October, 2019 the team of Yandex.Market was left by the director of the international development Alex Vasilyev who, in particular, was responsible for Bringly activity. The company was not going to look for the new person on his place.
In September, 2019 "Yandex" reported that it will not invest in involvement of audience on Bringly any more. From April to September, 2019 the audience of online store fell by 27 times — up to 91,000 people a month. In October the number of visits of service was reduced to 69.6 thousand (data of SimilarWeb analytical company).[1]
