Gulliver automated management of the warehouse yard using ConsID YMS

2019: ConsID YMS implementation

On December 9, 2019 the ConsID company reported that it implemented a management system for the warehouse yard of ConsID YMS on the main distribution center of Gulliver group.

According to the company, the warehouse is several years running the professional warehouse ConsID WMS system. Until recently planning of the diagram of pogruzo-discharging through gate of a warehouse was carried out manually, and registration of entrance/departure of transport for the territory of the yard and printing of admissions were made out in the system of own development. With growth of number of shops of retail networks and increase in intensity of a cargo flow requirements to the accuracy of planning and cost reduction on fleet management raised, there were needs for implementation of a professional management system for the yard.

ConsID YMS manages the equipment, personnel, space at warehouse gate. A system allows to create requests and to control processes of entrance/departure of transport on the territory of a warehouse, to automatically make out and issue to drivers of the admission, to create a necessary document package. A system optimum distributes transport for unloading/loading on 52 gate and time windows taking into account the flowing and planned load of gate. Distribution of vehicles by gate is made according to the set standards of finding of transport in the territory, taking into account or without time management of giving of transport that allows to plan processes of shipment and acceptance of both own, and hired transport.

Using ConsID YMS the company can effectively plan 130 runs a day both for own, and for hired transport, at the same time the turnover of a warehouse reached 4 days. ConsID YMS provides a complex of visual managerial reports using which it is possible to reveal online problems and to react quickly in case of a deviation from the diagram of giving of transport. The analysis of the obtained actual data about all transactions allows to adjust standards of execution of works and algorithms for even more exact calculation of diagrams. Diagrams of planning of employment of gate are automatically sent to clients, suppliers and transport department.

The ConsID YMS system thanks to harmonious work of the logistic Gulliver command and specialists of ConsID is implemented within 1.5 months with preserving of continuity of the current business processes.
