2019: Automation of a warehouse in Veliky Novgorod

On December 9, 2019 the Acron Group reported that it on the production site in Veliky Novgorod implements the information system providing control automation with warehouse work – Warehouse Management System (WMS).

This project was included into the program of global modernization of warehouses of PJSC Acron and for the beginning of December, 2019 is one of TOP-4 IT projects of the Acron Group. A main objective of implementation of WMS is process optimization of a warehouse with the control automation help by warehouse work.

The project is implemented in the central warehouse of workshop of a complete set of PJSC Acron. The topology of a warehouse was developed for its implementation and the mobile terminal by means of which the storekeeper in full implements the functionality is put into operation.

We had two ways: select the ready-made solution or develop WMS ISA based on our ERP system. At first considered the possibility of acquisition of several options of ready IT solutions, but decided later that we will be able independently to achieve the necessary result, without resorting to assistance. As a result developed by our group, together with department on IT of PJSC Acron, the software product completely satisfied all our requests and can be the ready-made solution for the market, noted the head of group on planning and the organization of business processes of PJSC Acron Alexander Matveev

For debugging of the implemented mode of work the separate zone of the centralized warehouse of PJSC Acron – warehouse instrumentation and automated control systems, complete transition to other principle of which work is going to be completed in December, 2019, was selected.

On the Novgorod platform of the Acron Group the WMS system will be implemented in all warehouses by the end of 2020.
