Rostelecom started the VPN network integrating 14 Schwabe enterprises

2019: Start of VPN at 14 enterprises

On December 10, 2019 Rostelecom announced start of a single network of corporate data transmission (VPN) which integrated 14 enterprises of Schwabe holding of Rostec State corporation. Rostelecom provides the industrial objects of "Schwabe" located in the different cities of Russia, high-speed data services with the maximum level of means of cryptoprotection.

The VPN network of Schwabe holding created by Rostelecom based on own communication fiber line differs in high degree of security from DDoS-attacks. Under the terms of cooperation, services virtual data processing center and monitoring of traffic are also provided to holding.

the Plants of Schwabe holding are located in the different cities of Russia, and the task to integrate them in the single protected network was set for us. We applied the difficult integration solution integrating network services and modern means of cryptographic protection. The network created by Rostelecom differs in reliability and gives full protection against unauthorized access, the transmission rate of large volumes of data at the same time completely meets needs of the client. Our solution allows to scale further without problems IT infrastructure of holding that allows to increase efficiency of business processes of the customer,

The joint project allowed to increase considerably capacity of communication channels between the Schwabe enterprises, to provide fault tolerance of network at all levels and also to increase its security. Consolidation of local networks in a single corporate network considerably will raise a data exchange rate and efficiency of business processes.
