2019: Implementation of the RFID solution of Micron for automation of production logistics

The RFID solution of Mikron Group for automation of production logistics is implemented at the Moscow hi-tech enterprise for production of the medical equipment of S. P. Gelpik LLC. Each marked object can be traced quickly at all stages of a logistics chain now – from the beginning of production before shipment to the client, reported in December 13, 2019 in Micron.

For control of movement on production workshops all objects (the equipment, parts and route sheets) are equipped with radio-frequency tags, inputs and exits are equipped with the stationary readers controlling a route of the movement of the marked objects. Tags allow to identify an object at distance to 12 meters. Data are integrated into uniform information base for the automated accounting of units of production, monitoring of their movements, control of the work plan in real time and obtaining reports on observance of the production schedule.

Simple automation of logistics allows to optimize a production cycle, to reduce time of idle times and to minimize possible errors because of a human factor, to provide operating control behind all key processes and, thereby, to increase production efficiency, – Vasily Volosov, the head of group of development of the products RFID and IT of PJSC Mikron noted. – The similar systems can be applied at any enterprises, including is used at us on Micron for marking of SMIF containers by production of chips that allows to control quickly and precisely a technical route and the sequence of transaction.

On difficult technology production where a number of consecutive transactions in strictly certain order taking into account different variable factors (such as readiness of platforms, specialists, component parts and materials), the technical idle times connected with completeness of parts and documents is required and control of location of an object are one of the main resources of optimization of a production cycle. Use of RFID technology gives the management tool production processes and allows to provide growth of operational efficiency of the enterprise due to exact planning and control of transactions, reductions of unproductive costs and idle times, noted in Micron.

The functionality of the solution of Micron for automation of production logistics is configured depending on requirements of the customer and solvable tasks.
