2019: Arrest for a bribe in 1.5 million rubles
In December, 2019 the chief physician of a republican oncological clinic in Vladikavkaz is arrested for a bribe in 1.5 million rubles. He was caught red-handed, Interfax with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the North Caucasian Federal District reports.
According to law enforcement agencies, the head of medical institution ensured a victory of one of the pharmaceutical companies in auctions on delivery to oncology dispensary of medications and the conclusion of government contracts with a condition of receiving percent from the amount of contracts. The police know of government contracts for the amount more than 25 million rubles which were concluded from February to July, 2019.
Field investigators obtain information on time and the place of the criminal transaction. The Ministry of Internal Affairs posted video of detention. On the personnel the machine on the carriageway is visible. Further the camera is fixed on the man in a black jacket whose person is indistinct. Security officers got a roll of money from a jacket — all this was filmed with the mobile phone camera then on the detainee put cuffs. Further security officers spread out notes on 5 thousand rubles on a car cowl.
As a result the suspect is delayed in date of transmission to him by 1.5 million rubles. Concerning it criminal case on signs of the crime provided by Part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Taking of a bribe") is brought.
According to the Medvestnik edition, the name of the detainee is not told, however it is known that the post of the chief physician of republican oncology dispensary was held three years ago by Aslanbek Besayev who is a successor of a medical dynasty and before headed office of surgery of the Republican clinical[1].
