NIIPT Raster: Digital heat-resistant video surveillance systems

Product
Developers: NIIPT the Raster — Research institute of industrial television
Branches: Metallurgical industry
Technology: Video surveillance systems

Digital heat-resistant video surveillance systems are capable to work at a temperature up to 1600 °C. The equipment is intended for remote continuous control of fusion of metal, a flame of torches and also a status of internal surfaces of high-temperature furnaces.

2019: Description of heat-resistant video surveillance systems

According to information for December, 2019 for ensuring long-run job in the conditions of influence of high temperatures the digital video camera is protected by a double-circuit casing from stainless steel with water cooling. For prevention of hit on glass of the video camera of dust and a flame the space before it is blown by compressed air.

The observation system developed by NIIPT Raster (enters into Ruselectronics), transfers video signal to the operator panel and archives the image. Using the special software the operator can set settings of the camera: regulate exposure, a white balance and also to carry out scaling and deep contrasting.

A system provides "the mode of careful use of the video camera" due to pressure monitoring and temperature of a cooling water on an input and the output of the video camera. In case of emergency, for example – cutoff of water, air supply or a power supply, – joins the signal and sound light, and the camera is automatically brought out of a high-temperature zone.
