DataDome updated server for FGANA TSITIS

2019: Reorganization of server

On December 19, 2019 it became known that DataDome completed the project on reorganization of space and creation server for FGANU "Center of information technologies and systems of executive authorities". The created server is necessary for development of scientific projects of the organization.

To FGAN TSITIS is engaged in scientific activity and developments in the field of information telecommunication technologies, ADP equipment and electronics, security of information and also creation, development and maintaining the state information systems and components of information and telecommunication infrastructure in the field of science and education.

Reorganization of the space intended for jobs of employees to server and operator rooms became the main objective of the project. Project implementation took place in several stages.

At the first stage engineers of DataDome performed works on design. Preparation of the existing premises for construction works was carried out: gain of a plate of a floor and upgrade of the alarm system and control and access control (ACS) is executed.

At the second stage specialists of DataDome carried out construction preparation of premises for equipment installation which, among other things, included construction of metal frameworks for installation of conditioners, replacement of doors by fire-prevention, dismantling works. Also at this stage the following engineering systems were implemented:

• the system of a raised floor of DATAFLOOR (material of plates of a raised floor – chipboard of high strength, a covering of plates – antistatic linoleum);
• power supply system (the panel board equipment of ABB, the Liebert UPS for placement in a server rack of 3 pieces on 10 kVA and 5 pieces on 3 kVA, installation of power supply Calm of 4 pieces on 5 kVA);
• the 60 kW cooling system, on the basis of channel semi-industrial conditioners MDV;
• The ACS and security alarm on the basis of the equipment Race car.

I is glad that the public scientific institution put in us trust in creation of reliable engineering infrastructure for the IT systems. We managed to achieve effective objectives, to make space functional and to implement this project in the shortest possible time,

Aggregate term of project implementation made 35 working days. As a result to FGAN TSITIS received own the server, expected installation of 15 cabinets with reservation conditioning systems according to scheme N+1 and also the operator room with jobs for the employees responsible for servers, active equipment and tape libraries.
