On December 23, 2019 it became known that Megafon and SDS-Ugol signed the agreement on cooperation according to which the companies will create jointly modern infrastructure for development of communication services at the coal-mining enterprises, to implement the digital technologies of production management providing performance improvement of work, level of industrial and environmental safety.
Cooperation of Megafon and SDS-Ugol holding continues several years. Base stations of Megafon already cover with connection of the territory of the HK "SDS-Ugol" coal-mining enterprises: JSC Chernigovets, Mayskoye Mine Office LLC, JSC Salek and Shakhta Listvyazhnaya LLC. The reliable communication is necessary for smooth operation of specialists and the mountain equipment.
MegaFon provides data transmission infrastructure for more than 2 thousand IoT-modules installed on the mining-transport equipment of SDS-Ugol company. Together with automatic system of scheduling sensors trace the speed, location of transport, fuel level in a tank, body load of the chassis, temperature, conduct video registration of events. It allows to reduce transport costs and to optimize business processes.
The Listvyazhnaya mine became the first industrial platform in Russia where possibilities of pilotless control of truck were shown. The KamAZ truck moves on the industrial route 1 km long from a loading point in an unloading point. Traffic across the territory of the enterprise was provided by the base station of Megafon.
According to the results of start the teleconference between the Kemerovo region and Moscow – a video call of the test 5G network unrolled in the Listvyazhnaya mine took place. The call was made using commercially available infrastructure equipment of Huawei: reference network, base station of a 5G, mobile terminal Huawei Mate X. The CEO of Megafon Gevork Vermishyan during a video call expressed confidence that modern technologies, including development of a 5G, will allow to make the coal-mining industry even more effective and safe.
Start of the pilotless truck – an example of how modern technologies can be used in the industry. Business will be the main user of a 5G – the standard of communication which actively implements the whole world. Thanks to a 5G, it will be possible to automate those sections of production which constitute potential danger for employees, to use video, augmented reality and other opportunities. Technology revolution will have an impact on efficiency of all production process, – Gevork Vermishyan, the CEO of MegaFon company told |
Carrying out tests of the pilotless dump truck is the first practical stage of project implementation "The digital mountain enterprise" within which creation of the domestic career robot dump truck is planned. The movement of the car without participation of the driver allows to bring the person out of a dangerous zone of conducting mining operations, to reduce the probability of road accident and injury rate of the driver. Within the national Ecology draft and implementation of the concept "Pure Coal - Green Kuzbass" use of the pilotless robot dump truck will allow to reduce negative impact on the environment due to decrease in consumption of fuel at rhythmical transportations and also uses of the internal combustion engine using gas fuel. I want to congratulate our partners on successful carrying out tests and to thank for perfectly done work, – Gennady Alekseev, the CEO AO HK "SDS-Ugol" told |
In Kuzbass among the first five regions of the country the world-class scientific and education center is created. Within NOTs "Kuzbass" we developed the Comprehensive scientific and technical program which was protected in Moscow, in Academy of Sciences recently. A significant component of this program is digitalization of the coal industry. An event on Listvyazhna – the major step on the way of achievement of this purpose. I want to thank MegaFon company for innovations and I hope for our further effective cooperation, – Sergey Tsivilev, the governor of the Kemerovo region noted |
