Corus Consulting and Akvafor implemented a cloud ERP system of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations

On December 23, 2019 Corus Consulting Group reported that Akvafor automates operating activities in production divisions of the international supplier of household and industrial filters for water purification. As the solution a cloud ERP system of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations is selected that does the project special for the Russian market is one of the first implementations in the domestic companies of cloud ERP from Microsoft. The solution Akvafor will help to create the centralized IT ecosystem for end-to-end management logistic and production processes based on the complex Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform.

For management of geographically distributed structure of the enterprise it was necessary to build the complex, centralized, scalable IT infrastructure which would support strategic objectives of the company on expansion in international markets. Akvafor develops production sites and is guided by the world market therefore a system should provide holding with unobstructed sight of processes at each level of business – as in terms of production, and management accounting.

For creation of a uniform IT ecosystem a cloud ERP system of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations was selected. The localized version of the solution should become a single platform for management of manufacturing enterprises and the trading companies of holding in the different cities and the countries. It is expected that thanks to advantages cloud of the environment Microsoft Azure which part is the ERP system operational processes of all divisions Akvafor in Russia and abroad without additional infrastructure investments will be in the long term automated.

One of advantages of the solution for Akvafor is a cloud infrastructure. The task of its support does not lay down on shoulders of IT department of the company and does not require additional resources. Besides, the cloud environment allows to save on scaling of IT solutions and also on connection of products, technologies and tools. Based on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations EPR system the main business processes of the production site Akvafor in St. Petersburg will be automated: planning and accounting of production, purchases of raw materials and materials, warehouse transactions. In the future a system will integrate operational data of departments and Akvafor affiliated enterprises, so, the company management will receive the tool for the centralized reporting, access to detailed information on a commodity remaining balance and resources and will be able to make the weighed management decisions in real time.
