2019: Portable monitor of Acer of PM1

On December 24, 2019 the Acer company presented the PM1 monitor at the Russian market. The model is intended for often traveling users for whom on trips not only the notebook, but also the additional ultrathin portable monitor is necessary for work and the presentations. Among the main features of PM1 — the minimum thickness of the body, small weight, the IPS screen with a high image quality and also charging and connection to the PC, notebooks and mobile gadgets by means of the USB Type-C cable.

According to the producer, construction and design of Acer of PM1 will provide to the user complete mobility and freedom. At a thickness of body of 2 cm the 15.6-inch monitor weighs only 970 g that allows to carry it in a backpack or a bag, to take in business trips and on the exit presentations. Having used PM1 as the additional screen and having connected it to the smartphone or the tablet, the user will be able to show the ideas to clients. The folding support with regulated slope angle will allow to set the monitor to any comfortable position.

The monitor uses the universal USB connector Type-C which is responsible both for data transmission and images, and for a power supply of the monitor, noted in Acer.

According to the statement of the producer, the modern IPS matrix provides a high image quality with a scope of 45% of the NTSC color space; permission of Full HD (1920х1080 px.) allows to place all necessary information on the 15.6-inch screen and provides high detailing, and wide angles of the overview in 170 ° give the chance to both all participants, and the creator of the presentation to see the image without distortions almost at any angle.

On the portable PM1 monitor the Acer company provides a 3-year guarantee. As of December, 2019 the device is already available in the Russian retail at the price from 13,990 rubles.
