2024: RKIT employees have increased the speed of generating a report on the movement of finished products by 30 times

SCB Electrical Instrumentation LLC (SCB EP) - a full-cycle production enterprise engaged in the development, production sale devices and diagnostics and control of high-voltage equipment.

RKIT and SKB EP have been partners since 2008. The company successfully operates a finished product management system on the Docsvision platform. To date, about 200 thousand cards have been registered in the system. Analytical reports, which are generated automatically from the system data, provide competitive advantages to SKB EP. However, due to the large amount of data, the formation of a report on the movement of finished products by standard means took more than 30 minutes. It was not always possible to form a report on the first attempt. This slowed down the tracking of shipping orders. For a year, downtime could reach 12 hours.

To solve this problem, the RKIT team integrated Docsvision with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). The format of the report remained the same, but now the data comes directly from the SQL server. This accelerated the download of the report by 30 times - up to 1.5 minutes.

The solution significantly reduced downtime and improved the operation of the finished product warehouse. Now employees can monitor the availability of devices in the warehouse in real time, monitor their movement within the company and timely ship goods to customers. The RKIT team has proven that even with a large amount of data, business processes can be significantly accelerated.

2017: Implementation of "RKIT: Technical Archive"

In 2017, a system for managing the archive of technical documentation "RKIT: Technical Archive" on the Docsvision platform was introduced in the SCS of Electrical Instrumentation.

The peculiarity of the system is that it is a link between all enterprise management systems: CRM, CAD, CAM, CAE, ERP. The solution coordinates the work of departments: for example, thanks to prompt notifications on the system, the sales department can suspend shipment during the period of changes and improvements to the device.

Prompt notifications and regular automatic reports provide managers with information for making management decisions and allow them to influence the situation point-by-point without interrupting the workflow with planning meetings and meetings.

The Technical Archive system also allows you to form a package of documents for each copy in each batch of products. Thanks to the "Technical Archive," upon receipt of the product for service, the necessary replacements and improvements are made, which the owner of the device may not even be aware of. The presence of such a system allows you to individualize work with the customer up to a single instance.
