The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus began to use the Russian AI for security control

2020: The beginning of a pilot project of monitoring of security of the territory by means of AI

On January 14, 2020 Macroscop reported that in the Minsk regional management of department of protection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republic of Belarus the pilot project of monitoring of security of the territory by means of artificial intelligence started. As a basis of infrastructure of a system of complex security intelligent modules on the basis of neuronets of the Russian developer Macroscop are selected.

For January, 2020 on objects of the Minsk management of department of protection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus testing of modules of face recognition of Macroscop Complete and recognition of car numbers is complete. Also the expanded test stage of the module of control of activity of personnel started.

We were faced by a serious problem to minimize a human error in a problem of ensuring complex control of entrance and departure of vehicles on departmental objects, face recognition of visitors and control of activity of the operator of a video surveillance system. Based on a pilot project we are going to scale experience on our 24 departments in the Minsk management, including in the Vitebsk and Grodno regions, tells the head of department of means and systems of protection of the Minsk regional management of Department of protection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republic of Belarus, the militia colonel Vadim Voznesensky
