2020: Implementation of the information management system maintenance and repairs

On January 13, 2020 the NPP Spectec company announced that in December, 2019 on the Segezha PPM (Segezha Group, AFK "Sistema") the third stage of development of the information management system by maintenance and repairs (MRO) is completed.

Now operability of the equipment and timeliness of necessary actions of technology control is traced in the system implemented on the basis of the software of TRIM from NPP Spectec company.

In 2018 we tested an information system on a pilot object — paper-mill No. 3 — worked planning features of a MRO, registration and classification of defects, collection of data on technical condition of the equipment. A year ago in the MRO system control of repairs and service about 4000 items of equipment of plant was exercised. Now this digit is increased more than five times, up to 22 thousand. In reference books systems are introduced and described about 7 thousand scheduled works. A year ago 30 users, for January, 2020 — more than 300 were connected to a system, and there is a possibility of unlimited increase in their total quantity,

The planning feature of a MRO is developed before full volume scheduling of scheduled works, complemented with a possibility of formation of need for labor resources, control of loading of personnel, quantitative accounting of the material resources used (plan/fact).

Scaling of information support of the procedure of investigation of incidents — from accounting of incidents, the analysis of the related data before decision making is carried out. First of all it is about investigations upon the happened accidents and hardware failures, with determination of their prime causes and development of the measures directed to their warning in the future. This function of a system corresponds to the known practice of RCA (Root Cause Analysis).

The special attention is deserved by automation of transactions and information support at equipment bypasses. For this purpose on all productions of plant the solution "TRIM Mobile client" allowing to use mobile devices for collection of data on technical condition during bypasses was implemented. This solution gives the chance to personnel on duty to work in information system MRO, being directly near the equipment in a production zone and not having permanent connection with the database of a system,

For work with the solution "TRIM Mobile client" the plant bought specialized wearable industrial terminals. A system covers bypasses about 3500 items of equipment. Warranty service for the performed works is 12 months.

The unrolled TRIM system is one of the first existing digital solutions on STsBK on data collection of a MRO and will serve as "base" for implementation of business processes in SAP S/4HANA. The data accumulated in TRIM will be enriched and migrated in SAP S/4HANA where will begin to be used when planning repairs.

2016

The NPP Spectec company started since the beginning of 2016 execution of works on implementation of the information management system maintenance and repairs in JSC Segezha Pulp and Paper Mill. The basis of a system is the software package TRIM.

The scope of the created system includes paper-mill and technical directorate of JSC Segezha Pulp and Paper Mill. Processes of maintenance and repair (MRO) of paper machines and ancillary equipment will become control objects in a system.

Specialists of NPP Spectec conduct diagnostic examination of processes of a MRO of Segezha PPM, the project documentation on system implementation is developed. In particular, the specifications on system implementation defining organizational and object limits of the project and also stages of works are approved. The technology of fast return offered NPP Spectec provides obtaining effect of a system after the first stage of its implementation.

The license for 30 users of the software package TRIM which will become a basis of the created information management system of a MRO is delivered to Segezha PPM. The TRIM complex is the domestic software product of the class EAM/MRO developed by NPP Spectec, focused on comprehensive solving of tasks of management of industrial assets including process management of a MRO.

Customers of TRIM are hundreds of the organizations of different industry accessory and different scale, both in Russia, and beyond its limits. Implementation projects of TRIM are supported by competence of the developer in asset management, and its direct participation in the project both at an implementation stage, and at a stage of warranty service and maintenance. Thanks to it really operable systems are created, and long lifecycle of these systems is provided.
