Ventra helped Henkel to reduce costs for logistics

2019: End of a pilot project on system implementation of monitoring of the warehouse equipment

On January 21, 2019 the Ventra company announced a successful completion of a pilot project on implementation in a warehouse of Henkel RUS company of a monitoring system of the warehouse equipment allowing to reduce costs for abnormal repair, to receive authentic data on loading of the equipment and drivers, to increase security in a warehouse. The control system equipped 10 objects of the warehouse equipment. Based on 1 month of operation the positive effect allowing to start full-fledged system implementation in a warehouse and production of the customer was recorded.

To retailers standard problems of big warehouses are well-known. During change several people can work at each unit of the warehouse equipment in turn that prevents to exercise control of activity of drivers, complicates the analysis of outage of technology, results in difficulties in observation of careful attitude to it, prevention of emergency situations.

Works on preparation and the analysis of warehousing capacit of the customer started in the IV quarter, and directly testing happened over December, 2019. The solutions set on the warehouse equipment allow to estimate efficiency of use of the warehouse equipment, to carry out monitoring of accomplishment of production tasks, to keep personal account of care with the equipment. System implementation provides cost reduction on repair due to increase in the personal responsibility of drivers and also allows to monitor a status of the park of the equipment due to measurement of efficiency of the working equipment in this or that complete set and thanks to it to optimize costs.

According to the results of pilot implementation in a warehouse the management of Henkel highly appreciated visualization of data which in the online mode are issued by a system. The program allows to differentiate personnel access to different categories of the equipment, to fix emergency situations and the facts of violation of the security regulation, to collect data on idle times, monitoring loading not only on pieces of equipment or personal data of operators, but also on the different time periods. For January, 2020 there is a preparation for full implementation of the equipment, software and technical support in a warehouse and production Henkel, told the director of Ventra Industrial Olga Tonkikh

Implementation of the program and technical support of Ventra within the project allowed the customer to get rid of many problems connected with installation, installation, technical maintenance of a system. The software provides a possibility of fast completion under needs of the customer and does not enter the conflict with the available equipment software.
