In January, 2020 the Ministry of Health of Chelyabinsk region announced plans to buy three positron and issue tomographs combined with the x-ray computer tomograph. Department is ready to pay for this equipment to 441 million rubles. Results of an auction will be sounded on February 5, 2020.
According to the Vademec portal with reference to technical specifications to the tender, deliverable devices should have a gentra aperture not less than 70 cm, the detector not less than in 64 cuts, the uniform console of the operator integrated by PET/KT, to maintain the maximum weight of the patient not less than 220 kg and also to be compatible to the software for viewing, processing, transfer and storage of medical images of Syngo.via of production of Siemens which is available for the customer.
It is supposed that two PET/KT will be set in the Chelyabinsk regional clinical center of oncology and nuclear medicine, one more – in Regional oncological clinic No. 2 in Magnitogorsk.
The edition provides data of the specialist in radiodiagnosis of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation Igor Tyurin according to which by the end 2019 in Russia there are 58 working PET-devices, and 80% of regions have no own divisions of PET. By estimates of the Russian Ministry of Health, calculated on the basis of one device on 1-1.2 million people, deficit of PET in the country makes 120–140 devices as of the end of 2019.
Mainly private companies work at the Russian market of PET / KT-issledovany. The largest among them — the PAT-Technology network integrating 14 diagnostic centers and two productions of radiopharmaceuticals in 13 regions. It was going to open to 2025 in total 40 centers of nuclear medicine and to invest in it about 20 billion rubles.[1]
