2019: Implementation of Oracle Retail
The Russian network of the Zenden Group footwear implemented Oracle Retail at the same time to increase productivity of stocks and service quality of buyers due to the best placement of goods. It became known on January 22, 2020. Zenden is in the lead in the Russian market of footwear on income per square meter, annually more than 74.4 million people visit shops of network, and about 3 million buyers have the card of loyalty. For the last 5 years the company sold 42 million pairs of shoes. With Oracle Retail Zenden Group passed from manual procedures to computer-aided planning of the range on the basis of a demand forecast. The implemented process helps to guarantee that the necessary footwear will always be available in that shop where the client expects it to find.
Due to the rapid growth we needed the modern solution which could optimize planning process and forecasting of the range. The solution Oracle Retail allows to create the general environment for all participants of process and also to execute planning as "from top to down", and "from below up". It became the important factor which affected ours at choice. Thanks to the high accuracy and the added instruments of forecasting using machine learning we can meet more effectively real consumer demand in our shops, providing the best availability of the range. Using Oracle Retail in one centralized system 90% of planning process are standardized. Zenden Group implemented the solution on planning of the retail range of Oracle Retail Assortiment Planning, demand forecasting of Oracle Retail Demand Forecasting and also the solution Veltio New Product Forecasting on the Oracle Retail Predictive Application Server platform. The Veltio company performed works on implementation on this project.
