Schneider Electric began to use Oracle Cloud for collecting and data analysis about secondary sales

On January 14, 2020 the Oracle company announced that the Russian division of Schneider Electric transferred collecting, consolidation and data analysis about sales and a status of a warehouse of the distributors to Oracle Cloud. Use of the analytical cloud Oracle Analytics Cloud tools allowed to increase efficiency of data analysis and quality of decision making.

For collection of data on sales through several dozens of distributors and the business analysis of the acquired information to the Russian division of Schneider Electric the modern complete solution was required. To a project startup data were requested from partners in Excel format of the set type then were processed in the manual mode. This process was extremely trudozatraten and contained a large amount of inaccuracies.

The choice of platform and infrastructure services Oracle Cloud allowed to implement optimal architecture of a corporate class at the low total ownership cost. Data integration is performed using Oracle Data Integrator Enterprise Edition, cloud services of Oracle Database Cloud Service – High Performance Package and Oracle Analytics Cloud – Enterprise with capacity utilization of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) are used for the organization of high-performance storage and analytics.

As a result of project implementation more than 90% of all data gather and processed in the automatic mode now. It allowed to reduce considerably quantity of errors at data collection, to eliminate labor-intensive process of consolidation of data manually and to increase efficiency and accuracy that promoted acceptance of more justified management decisions.

Information about distributors and clients, secondary sales and level of a warehouse are consolidated in uniform storage. The authorized staff of Schneider Electric can browse information cuts necessary for them by means of previously configured dashboards and reports. In the self-service mode users can easily create individual reports and carry out expanded data analysis.

The analytics of secondary sales of distributors based on cloud services of Oracle Cloud allows us to reveal trends of the market and to react more quickly to needs of partners and customers. Files with data from distributors are consolidated in uniform storage. As a result we receive digital models for the best satisfaction of needs of our clients.
