2020: The beginning of sales in Russia
At the end of January, 2020 in the Russian shops IKEA there were smart curtains which purify air by the principle of photosynthesis without use of filtering systems and electric mechanisms. New products received the name "Gunrid".
As reported in IKEA, photosynthesis is started at contact of fabric with a daylight therefore does not require electricity. After that special processing from mineral substances begins to destroy the elements contaminating air and splits them on carbon dioxide and molecules of water.
Curtains use daylight energy for transformation of volatile organic compounds in a pure air.
They are available in gray and pink color. Since April, 2020 yellow color will also be added. The size — 145 x 300 cm. In need of a curtain it is possible to truncate independently, using a glue tape, or having ordered tailoring service directly in IKEA shop.
Curtains pass a daylight, but protect the premises from public eyes. They can be used in multilayer solutions for a design of windows. The hidden loops on the upper edge allow to hang up a lining for curtains on gardinny eaves.
It is noted that for receiving material for production of these curtains it was required to process 50 plastic bottles of 0.5 l.

At the end of January, 2020 curtains went on sale in all shops IKEA in Russia and also in online store of the company. The cost of a product is 2 thousand rubles. Two curtains are included in the package.[1]
