2018: Application programming of Smart TV

Using the application of Smart TV the end customer should have an opportunity to browse the product directory, to obtain information on special offers of the company and also access to video content from official channels of Samsung Russia on a video hosting of YouTube.

The customer needed to create the application for quick access to information on products of Samsung, the current product catalog and relevant promo-companies for owners of Samsung 2015 TVs — 2017 of release with Smart TV Tizen technology and also to investigate efficiency of the channel of direct sales.

The main business objectives of the client were the sales increase and increase in a customer loyalty. The purpose when developing design of the application was sdelatyudobny for the user according to corporate standards of the company.

For search correct solution design the technique of drawing of prototypes was selected. With their help specialists of TsVT thought over scenarios of the user, distributed volumes of content and tested physical scales of information as navigation in applications considerably differs from the website or mobile application.

At application programming the company tried to observe logic of transitions from one screen on another that the user did not lose the location and could find a desirable product intuitively.

Client part of the application is implemented using native Samsung Tizen technologies using Handlebars shablonizator. A server part is implemented by means of Node JS, a framework of Express and a DB of PostgreSQL. Besides, it is used own framework allowing to develop the application at once under all platforms taking into account their features and to solve on them such main objectives as navigation, video playback.
