2024: Semi-solid cheese production launched for 170 million rubles
In the Irkutsk region at the end of August 2024, a new plant for the production of semi-solid cheese was opened, investments in which amounted to ₽170 million. This is a project of the agricultural JSC Belorechenskoye. The company is expected to produce more than 500 tons of cheese per year.
According to the press service of the government of the Irkutsk region, the construction of the new workshop began in 2023. The regional governor Igor Kobzev took part in the launch ceremony, who noted the importance of this project for the entire region.
The opening of the cheese production workshop is an example of how our agricultural producers can occupy their niche in the modern market and compete with imported products. This workshop is a completely import-substituting production, - said Kobzev. |
The production facilities of the Usolsky Dairy Plant allow processing up to 120 tons of milk per day. In addition to the new workshop, the company produces a wide range of dairy products, including pasteurized milk, fermented milk products, sour cream, cottage cheese, milk powder and butter. The company's plans also include the launch of the production of processed cheese with various flavors.
SHAO "Belorechenskoye" is one of the largest agricultural producers in the Irkutsk region. The company is engaged not only in the production of dairy products, but also in poultry, animal husbandry, crop production, the production of eggs and egg products, as well as bakery and confectionery products. The company has its own retail network, which allows the sale of products directly to consumers.
According to the list of affiliates, by 2024 the main owners of Belorechenskoye are Tatyana Pukhmakhterova, as well as Gabriel, Stepan and Sergey Frantenko.[1]
