Start of biometric confirmation of the personality in all departments
On August 12, 2020 it became known that Rosselkhozbank starts biometric confirmation of the identity of the client at the same time in all departments.
Since November, 2020 the Bank in all territory of Russia will use a sensing technology of the person when carrying out by the client settlement and cash transactions and also transactions with deposits and safe deposit boxes.
RSHB one of the first Russian banks started service of citizens using remote identification through the Single Biometric System (SBS) which allows to become the client of Bank and to receive financial services, without leaving the house. It is enough to be registered in EBS, having handed over to earlier biometric samples and to perform the procedure of remote identification in the state trusted system of a Unified identification and authentication system/EBS using the video image and the record of a voice transferred by its device having the camera/microphone and Internet connection. After passing of remote identification the user becomes the full-fledged client of RSHB and all services of Rosselkhozbank remotely 24/7 are available to it.
Having created own universal biometric platform, Rosselkhozbank provided accomplishment of regulatory requirements on interaction with a Single biometric system, implemented the mechanism of remote identification and also made possible use of any biometric technologies in own products and processes. For August, 2020 we replicate functionality of a biometric system of Bank regarding formation of own base and biometric verification of clients in operational processes of customer service in network of departments. Our technology provides verification on the person that guarantees considerable decrease in operational risks, increases the speed and customer service quality and displays Rosselkhozbank in number of pioneers on ensuring digitalization and reliability of banking activities of clients — Blok's head of development of retail business and remote service of Rosselkhozbank Yulia Demenyuk noted. |
Besides, the implemented services will allow clients to request independently biometric verification at performing transactions over established to them before a limit of a transaction amount that will exclude a possibility of carrying out suspicious transactions and also will reliably protect access to a leased safe deposit box.
Application of biometrics will allow Bank to improve considerably processes of identification of clients and to instantly create for them most personified offers taking into account the previous addresses and the history of perfect transactions.
The mechanism of remote biometric identification implemented by Bank is one of the most hi-tech in the market. It is available round the clock from any place in the world, does not demand from the client of filling of paper forms, use of the special equipment or presence at office of Bank.
Completion of connection of bank to "A single biometric system"
On February 3, 2020 the RT Labs company announced completion of process of connection of Rosselkhozbank (RSHB) to service of remote identification in a Single biometric system as which operator Rostelecom acts. Now the citizen registered in it can from any place in the world, at any time to become the client of bank.
According to the company in order that remotely in the round-the-clock mode to receive services of bank, it is enough to hand over data in a Single biometric system in advance and to undergo the procedure of remote identification in the Unified identification and authentication system (Unified identification and authentication system).
For connection to remote service with the help computer the user should become authorized through portal of state services in internet- RSHB bank. During the work on mobile the device — to download in Google Play and App Store application "Biometrics", developed by Rostelecom, and mobile application of bank. Further, using the Registration through Gosuslugi function, it is necessary to confirm the personality on biometric to data. After the user undergoes remote biometric identification, he becomes the full-fledged client of RSHB and gets access to all services of Rosselkhozbank remotely in the round-the-clock mode.
The RSHB biometric system developed and implemented by Rtlabs company is constructed on the RTL Biometrics Platform platform and completely integrated with a Unified identification and authentication system and a Single biometric system. The solution allows to apply biometric confirmation of the personality not only within remote customer service, but also in the course of rendering a number of services in department for the purpose of counteraction to illegal acts.

For February, 2020 remote identification allows citizens to receive banking services without coming out the house — enough only to be registered in a Single biometric system. RSHB, along with other banks connected to a Single biometric system allowed any citizen to become the client of bank and to receive financial services on biometrics. Rostelecom develops a system and already in the nearest future the deleted biometric identification will allow citizens to buy goods in shops, without presentation of the bank card or the smartphone, to pass in transport without boarding pass and the paper ticket.
