2020: Process automation of management of transport logistics

On February 4, 2020 the Axelot company reported that the AXELOT TMS X4 system controls all processes of transportations and control of transport of the Moscow branch of And GROUP company – from formation of shipping requests to the expense accounting on the maintenance of own park.

According to the company, the decision on control automation was made by transport logistics due to the need of reduction of time for planning of routes taking into account specifics of transportation of pipes and metal rolling and transition to own tender platform for carriers. Besides, the company aimed to increase control of work of vehicles and development of units with further distribution of direct and indirect costs.

From the solutions proposed in the market the company management stopped the choice on the AXELOT TMS X4 system having to optimal stated purposes functionality. Specialists of AXELOT company were engaged in system implementation.

In a work progress over the project integration between systems "1C: Trade Management" and AXELOT TMS using the corporate service bus was configured data DATAREON ESB. The integration circuit includes both reference books, and documents of systems.

Using AXELOT TMS at the enterprise automatic planning of runs in all directions of delivery of Inventories of the Moscow branch – the entering and outbound logistics is conducted. At automatic planning different specifics of transportation of pipes and metal rolling are considered.

First of all, at the solution of a problem of routing the plasticity of metal not only for determination of an order of loading in the vehicle, but also for determination of an order of a detour of warehouses of loading and a delivery of metal on unloading points is considered. The plasticity indicator, in turn, is fixed at the level of each nomenclature that allows to reduce considerably risks at a stage of loading of a load in the vehicle. Accounting of types of bodies of transport allows to pick up the optimal vehicle depending on specifics of the transported load, and time management of pogruzo-discharging at the level of each nomenclature – it is correct to plan all route taking into account the time spent in each point on run.

System implementation of AXELOT TMS allowed the company to pass to own tender platform with the automated process of playing of multistep biddings. Within work of functionality on carrying out the tender the possibility of automatic mailing of invitations to tender is provided. The carriers which received the tender create the offers on cost, delivery date and data of transport. On a result of the created offers to carriers information on the best offer which can be "killed" lower cost of transportation taking into account the set bidding step is output. The logistician responsible for the tender selects the best offer on the basis of what confirmation to carrier forms. On a result of carrying out the tender from a system automatic mailing to participants about results of the tender goes.

By transfer of the created run to execution cost indicators of profitability of transportation are controlled. In case of use of own vehicle fleet of the company automatic control of validity periods of documents of vehicles and drivers is exercised.

Tracking and control works of drivers are carried out by means of mobile devices using the AXELOT TMS application. Mobile clients are used by both own drivers, and drivers of the hired companies carriers.

Opacity of expenses on own park and dispersion of such information on different data sources - the main "narrow" places of process of management of own park. Thanks to system implementation of AXELOT TMS a common information space for accounting of transactions with vehicles and the equipment was implemented. In a system not only the statement of waybills, but also accounting of repair work, the movement of fuel, materials and the equipment in warehouses of the organization is performed. Automatic calculation of terms of passing of TO both for the performance standard, and for development of transport taking into account the created statistics on a run of each separate vehicle is made. In a system calculation and expense allocation for repair work, depreciation of transport and the equipment, to penalties and other costs are performed.

Implementation of all assigned tasks and also process automation of management of transportations and own park of vehicles in full became a project deliverable.
