"SearchInform Integration" protects the Innopolis SEZ from internal threats

2020: Protection against date leaks

The Innopolis special economic zone attracted specialists of SearchInform Integration LLC to protection against information leaks and incidents of security because of a human factor. On February 14, 2020 the SearchInform company reported about it. The format of outsourcing allowed the SEZ to ensure information security and not to create staff of the selected specialists who could carry out regular monitoring of threats.

Professional cybersecurity analysts monitor safety of data with which the staff of the company works and report on different channels in the organization and out of its limits. Monitoring, detecting and investigation of violations of security is provided with a DLP system.

Within pilot testing a system proved. Situations in which potentially at development of certain scenarios there could be difficulties are revealed. The main objective of specialists of "SearchInform of Integration" – quickly to notify on incidents which affect the sphere of information security (a possibility of information leak, its unauthorized transfer, etc.). Interaction with the company is estimated positively. Now the trend came to Russia, and on the example of the Innopolis Special economic zone we see that practice is successful. For averages on organization size it is not always reasonable to keep staff of cybersecurity specialists, the protective systems and the equipment on which they work – it can distract resources from key business challenges. At the same time threats of information security are not less relevant for them, than for huge holdings.
