Rostelecom confirmed security of an information system of MFC in Rostov-on-Don

Rostelecom carried out certification of security of all multifunction centers of the public and municipal services (MFC) in Rostov-on-Don. Specialists of the company estimated about 500 objects of an information system regarding compliance to requirements of FSTEC and FSB at all 16 MFC of the city and confirmed their reliability. Check concerned security as internal, so external perimeter of an information system. Professionals of information security of Rostelecom-Solar company (subsidiary company PJSC Rostelecom) simulated cyber attack to network of the customer (Pentest service) and found out, how successfully operating protection is capable to reflect it. Then using the solution Solar appScreener specialists of the company tested the source code of the major application of MFC which digitize documents of applicants, and were convinced of its reliability. These and other checks and also the analysis which is carried out by their results allowed to estimate cyber defense of MFC of the city most precisely.

According to the results of 15 days of scrupulous work of Rostelecom the customer received the analytical report with professional evaluation and recommendations about maintenance of all parameters of security of systems.
