2024: Revenue growth by 18.4% to 7 billion rubles

At the end of 2024, one of the largest manufacturers of respiratory protection in Russia, Sorbent, recorded revenue of 7 billion rubles. This is 18.4% more than the previous year, when the company received 5.9 billion rubles. Such data are contained in the financial statements released at the end of April 2025.

The cost of sales on an annualized basis increased by 21% and reached 4.1 billion rubles. In 2024, the company received 1.5 billion rubles of net profit against 1.4 billion rubles a year earlier: this corresponds to an increase of about 4%. Expenses in connection with the remuneration of employees rose by 38.7% - from 1 billion rubles to 1.3 billion rubles.

The Sorbent website says that, in addition to respiratory protection, the company is engaged in the production of activated coals, coagulants, water treatment and treatment systems. The company has modern equipment, which, allegedly, allows the production of products that meet world standards. Products are sold under the brands Unix, DOT, DOTpro, MAG, GDZK, Rodnik, etc. Product quality control is carried out by a special technical department and a military representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

More than half a century of experience in the field of sorption technologies allows us to comprehensively solve the problems of gas-gas protection, and the presence of a developed scientific and production base - to constantly improve serial products and create new products with excellent consumer properties, says Sorbent.

According to the Kommersant newspaper, Sorbent is controlled by structures close to the owner of Neftekhimprom Group of Companies Vladimir Matytsin. Since July 2018, the functions of the sole executive body of Sorbent JSC have been transferred to the management organization Zelinsky Group LLC. ^[1]
