In Yuganskneftegaz the control system for works on wells is updated

The OT-OIL company and JSC Yuganskneftegaz announced project completion of transition to the new version of a control system for works on wells (ATHOLL IV.1).

Cooperation of OT-OIL company with JSC Yuganskneftegaz began in 2006 with the project of inspection of information processes of the direction of business Oil production. The same year, in the oil company the IT solution allowing to control indicators of service works in a real mode of time was implemented. It was created based on own development OT-OIL - ATHOLL IV.0 (a complex of the applications for the oil and gas industry solving versatile problems in Upstream, but working under control of a single platform).

The information volume which increased for several years in the company about the held geological and technical events on wells and also growth of number of the users who are at the same time working in a system demanded optimization of architecture of IT solution. For this purpose the new equipment was purchased by the customer and the new version of product ATHOLL IV.1 is selected.

As ATHOLL is closely integrated with the IT solutions used at the enterprise ("RN-Dobycha", "TsDS", "OIS") and a system is used by more than 400 registered users, all necessary works on transfer to the new version of the software product were performed in the shortest possible time — technical idle time of the industrial server made only 8 hours.

Implementation of the new version of the platform and client part allowed in the same IT infrastructure at least twice to accelerate operation of applications, report generation, loading and unloading of data in the adjacent systems, and much — the speed of the solution of separate tasks.

ATHOLL IV.1 is optimized for work with Oracle 10g/11g DBMS. Its design is stylized under MS Office 2007 for the purpose of increase in intuitive use of software. The made changes not only expanded types of the stored objects, but also increased functioning performance in the "bottlenecks" characteristic of the POSC focused data model. Besides, the new version of Java 1.6 (Java 6 TM) used in a system significantly improved the interface of client forms, expanded functionality with new system components and increased navigation speed in forms.

At the moment Yuganskneftegaz is actively used by ATHOLL for the solution of the following tasks:

• planning and accounting of the hydraulic fracturing (HF);
• accounting of works on capital and running repair of wells;
• control of works on capital, running repair of wells and GRP.

"The updated system will allow us to lower load of users, to increase efficiency of works due to increase in response time and increase in speed of report generation. a 8-hour simple system it was duplicated by temporary organizational solution that allowed us not to waste even time on it control over production" — the chief of the sector of data collection and processing of OOM TsITU JSC Yuganskneftegaz Hamidullin Lenar noted.

According to the CEO OT-OIL Ivan Mugalev, "the new version of a control system for works on wells are characterized by high quality of design and use of modern technologies of creation of corporate information systems. It allowed to minimize the customer's time for implementation of applications and their further maintenance. Within technical support, the license for the new version the ATOLL was transferred to the customer free of charge, and replacement of IT solution was made in the shortest possible time thanks to the help of group of support of the Nefteyugansk branch "RN-Inform".
