Prerequisites of the Project
AVARDA.RetailNetwork system implementation in Leader company was preceded by other project, based on one of accounting systems, widespread in Russia. However the objects set for automation did not manage to achieve – the received solution could not provide to the company the necessary performance and relevance of data. For this reason the Leader company was forced to replace already implemented software product with new, more powerful and productive, corresponding to a class of ERP systems for trade.
Specialists of the company analyzed the main ERP solutions for retail networks, presented at the Russian market. As a result the company management Leader selected the AVARDA.RetailNetwork system from Ansoft company.
High readiness of a basic configuration for retail automation by footwear became main advantage of AVARDA.RetailNetwork before other software products. For example, possibilities of accounting of tsvetorazmerny ranks, boxes and other industry features. The system of replication capable to collect information from all shops with detailing till a line of the cash voucher became one more advantage of the AVARDA.RetailNetwork system, providing relevance of data several minutes.
In addition to AVARDA.RetailNetwork systems capabilities the management of Leader experience of Ansoft company in project implementation in leading companies of a segment – Ecco, Geox, Finn Flare, Collonil and also other federal retail networks interested.
Project Objectives
As a result of AVARDA.RetailNetwork system implementation the company management the leader planned:
- increase management efficiency due to automation of the main business processes of front-office and back-office of the company;
- lower costs;
- receive the tool guaranteeing permanent existence of up-to-date information on all divisions and outlets.
The ERP project was going to be implemented in record-breaking short term – in 2 months.
Project Progress
After the careful analysis of business processes of the customer specialists of Ansoft company developed the individual project plan. The strict sequence in automation of certain business processes provided the continuity of network functioning and allowed to receive maximum efficiency from AVARDA.RetailNetwork system implementation.
First of all in Leader company the control block was implemented by sales and loyalty systems of buyers, goods acceptance, interwarehouse movements, accounting of cost value by delivery of goods and also processes of inventory and pricing is automated.
The project is implemented by specialists of Ansoft company in 2 months. So short term of implementation is caused by high readiness of basic functionality of AVARDA.RetailNetwork for automation of a Fashion segment. Project works were reduced, generally to setup of the equipment, user training and system deployment.
Results and plans for the future
So far in the AVARDA.RetailNetwork system the central office, a warehouse and 32 shops of network in Moscow, Volgograd and St. Petersburg work. At the same time both front-offices, and back-offices of shops are automated. Using the implemented solution supplier orders form, the goods in way are traced, cost value of goods is calculated, its acceptance, inventory, shipment and movement on outlets is performed and also revaluation and accounting of settlement with partners is carried out.
The received solution allows Leader company to prepare the necessary reporting under sales volumes of each goods item in all shops, at the same time the AVARDA.RetailNetwork system makes automatic recommendations about movement of goods between shops. The management almost online obtains information on sales of all divisions with detailing till a line of the cash voucher. Each shop of network owns relevant (at the level of 8 minutes) data on a goods remaining balance in other trade divisions. At the same time as data transmission channels GPRS modems are used that allows to save additional resources.
The AVARDA.RetailNetwork system provides different pricing for different shops, the cut-price goods shtrikhkodirutsya in a special way and has own price. These opportunities are especially important for geographically distributed networks.
For the purpose of motivation of employees for each position of the cash voucher the consultant who sold goods is fixed. On the basis of data on sales in the AVARDA system the reporting for charge of bonuses to the employees is automatically prepared.
During the project much attention was paid to an expanded loyalty system of Leader company. In the AVARDA.RetailNetwork system own accumulative cards, VIP-cards with the fixed percent and also accumulative cards of brands of suppliers are considered (Geox and others). Also in the AVARDA system the developed system of number discount coupons is supported.
Points of sale in Leader shops are organized based on personal computers or POS terminals. The software for front-office – a workplace of the cashier of the AVARDA.RetailNetwork system. Each cash desk is equipped with a fiscal registrar, the scanner of barcodes, a board of the buyer and printers of labels.
All works on system implementation of AVARDA are performed by specialists of Ansoft company who will provide further also technical support of geographically distributed retail network of Leader company.
In the closest plans of company management Leader – replication of a system on all retail network and also use of additional functionality of AVARDA – accounting of gift and bonus cards, automation of claims activities with suppliers, implementation of SCM, CRM and the WMS modules AVARDA.
