The trade holding "Mediamarket" dynamically develops: constantly the range of commodity groups extends, the number of online stores, employees, buyers and suppliers grows. For fixing of positions in the market and acquisitions of new competitive advantages in 2008 the management Mediamarket makes the decision to implement the new automation system. The widespread accounting program used at that time ceased to cope with the tasks assigned to it, and even on the most modern and expensive equipment could not provide necessary performance. The new software product of the class ERP which would allow to automate all business processes was necessary for holding and to considerably increase efficiency.


First of all, in the automation system the following characteristics were important:

  • Reliability of DBMS

  • A possibility of the distributed work

  • Rich basic configuration

  • Existence of flexible configurations of the user interface

  • Active development and support by the producer

  • Reliability of a kompaniirazrabotchik of the software


Specialists of holding carried out careful contrastive analysis of a wide range of the Russian and western developments. As a result the ERP system of AVARDA was the most conforming to all stated requirements. Besides, the developer and system provider, Ansoft company, already had experience of successful implementations in online-trade (Internet hypermarket 003.Ru).


Project Objectives

Before an implementation project of the ERP system of AVARDA the management of trade holding "Mediamarket" set the following purposes:

Increase centralization of management to Optimize work of call center, a warehouse and the delivery service of the Reduce Input Time holding in trade of a new assortment row to Create a full-function CRM system thanks to integration of the ERP system of AVARDA with a management system for call center of FrontRange to Increase loyalty of buyers


Project Progress

Implementation of the ERP system of AVARDA was carried out by a joint project team which customer representatives and specialists of Ansoft company entered. At the first stage of the project business processes of Mediamarket company were described, the concept and the master plan of implementation the ERP system of AVARDA is made. Further adaptation of a system to needs of the customer is carried out and its commissioning in all divisions of trade holding is performed.

In the project progress especially for Mediamarket some completions to the basic ERP-configuration of the AVARDA system were made:

the interface of attendant workstation of call center is developed algorithms of batch processing of orders in a warehouse are added the system of order statuses is created data exchange between the websites, including automatic import of orders is implemented.

During implementation of the ERP system of AVARDA integration with a management system for call center of FrontRange was carried out it. At a design of delivery addresses KLADR ("The qualifier of the addresses of Russia") is used.


Project deliverables and plans for the future

Now in the AVARDA system 80 employees of Mediamarket holding work. Using the solution the office, call center and a warehouse of trade enterprise are automated, Ochkov.net, Modbuket.ru, LaParfumerie.Ru, BlackFriday.ru, Flakon.ru, CrystalArt.Ru, Fancy.Ru and Club-Sale.Ru online projects are supported.

Systems capabilities of AVARDA allowed to automate completely the loyalty program of clients of Mediamarket – quantity discounts of the purchased goods and various accumulative programs. In the online stores belonging to holding by one login can make purchases several receivers at once and by that to increase the general accumulative discount. For each client a system calculates personal discounts with the broad range from 3% to 90% in different projects.


Now main objectives of the project are achieved:

  • The reliable and scalable information system is received

  • Centralization of management is increased

  • Processing speed of orders at all peaks of load is increased

  • The quantity of errors at assembly of orders is reduced

  • The efficiency and quality of work of operators of the sall-center is significantly increased

  • Processes of receipt and shipment are optimized, the minimum storage time of goods in a warehouse is provided. Now the Mediamarket company performs thousands of shipments to knocks.

Having estimated the high performance and high-speed performance of the ERP system of AVARDA, the company management of Mediamarket is going to automate department of delivery, to expand analytics, to implement the module of warehouse logistics AVARDA.WMS to automate other business processes. Mediamarket has an opportunity to develop the AVARDA system as by own efforts, and using specialists of Ansoft.
