Possibilities of the electronic passport of health
The electronic passport of health started in October, 2019 in Kazakhstan allows to check the following:
- clinic to which the citizen is attached;
- services and drugs which can be received free of charge;
- data of the attending physician;
- diagnoses and recommendations about treatment.
The electronic passport of health replaces the out-patient card — the last does not need to be carried on appointment, to give at hospitalization, to paste analysis results. All data on human health are stored in electronic form. Parents will be able to see the diagram of vaccination of the child to do not pass an inoculation.
From the electronic passport of health doctors, including from ambulance have data access. Paramedics will be able to look whether the patient has an allergy to any drugs and also to study history of his disease to render the emergency help.
2020: All residents of Kazakhstan received the electronic passport of health
In March, 2020 it became known that all residents of Kazakhstan received the electronic passport of health within the large-scale digitalization of health care which is taking place in the country assuming integration of information systems from mobile applications, medical information systems of clinics to electronic passports.
Today everyone can be convinced that the electronic passport works. All 18 million people have electronic passports on IIN which are updated on a weekly basis by data from all medical institutions. The deputy manager of Administration of the President of Kazakhstan Timur Suleymenov noted that in 2019 the ministry the health care did a great job on digitalization in cooperation with other bodies, including with the ministry of digital development in digitization of a system of provision of medicines.[1]
