On March 16, 2020 the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) announced investment into production of the systems of fast diagnosis of a koronavirusny infection COVID-19

Within the project of RDIF together with the Japanese partner (his name is not revealed) brings to the world market the system using a method of isothermal molecular diagnostics SmartAmp which, allegedly, does not concede PTsR technology (polimerazno-chain reaction), but considerably exceeds it on the speed of testing and does not require existence of stationary laboratory. 

RDIF invests in production of rapid tests for a coronavirus

For implementation of express diagnosis of a coronavirus it is required up to 30 minutes. The line of test systems is adapted for stationary laboratories and not having analogs of portable mini-laboratories (a small suitcase). Besides, it is ready to application everywhere – both in hospitals, and in any public organizations (schools, offices, the airports, stations).

Start of full-scale testing on the basis of new tests is planned in April, 2020 in Russia and abroad after passing of the accelerated certification and obtaining permissions  — in Europe, Asia and in the Middle East. RDIF specified that clinics and laboratories of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Austria by March 16, 2020 over 500 thousand tests placed preliminary applications for purchase.

At the beginning of March, 2020 tests of the Russian-Japanese test began in FBUN GNTs WB "Vector" of Rospotrebnadzor at the beginning of March, 2020. The test based on the Russian enterprise will be made. On what, it is not specified.

By March 16, 2020 in Russia a test can be passed only through medics and at hospitalization in specialized public medical institutions. In Moscow it is CDB RAS hospital in the Communard and Infectious diseases clinical hospital No. 1.[1]
