The Sakhalin region and OTEK will cooperate in the field of upgrade of the systems of housing and public utilities and digitalization of municipal economy

2020: The agreement on interaction at project development in the field of upgrade of the utility systems and development of digital services and services

On March 18, 2020 the Consolidated Heat Power Company (OTEK), a division of ROSATOM State Corporation, reported that they together with the Government of the Sakhalin region signed the agreement on interaction at project development in the field of upgrade of the utility systems and development of digital services and services in the Sakhalin region. Signatures under the document were appended by the Prime Minister of the Sakhalin region Alexey Byelik and the CEO of JSC OTEK Ksenia Sukhotina.

Cooperation is directed to reliability augmentation and efficiency of the systems of heat supply, power supply, water supply and water disposal of the Sakhalin region, to improvement of an ecological situation and creation of the comfortable environment for residents of the area. In the field of "smart technologies" the parties agreed about joint development of approaches to complex digitalization of municipal management and city infrastructure.

We are interested in improvement of quality of life of residents of Sakhalin, in stabilization of an ecological situation, in that, having increased reliability to reduce costs on such services, basic for people, as warm, electro-, water supply and water disposal. For development of the region it is also extremely important to create the favorable investment climate in the territory of the area, to update island economy at the expense of investments of the large companies. Both it is impossible without use of modern solutions, including digital, without updating of outdated infrastructure. Therefore experience and competences OTEK in spheres of upgrade of infrastructure of housing and public utilities and digitalization of municipal economy will be useful to us,

We are ready to share the accumulated experience, to offer our competences in the field of centralization of the systems of resource provisioning and digitalization of city infrastructure,-. – for March, 2020 we are engaged in upgrade of water supply systems and water disposals in the cities of Sverdlovsk region and the Udmurt Republic.
