Biography

Born March 20, 1964 in the village of Sairanovo, Ishimbay district, Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.

1981: Ishimbay Transport Engineering Plant

He began his career in 1981 as a student of a milling worker at the Ishimbay plant transport mechanical engineering(since 2014 - the Vityaz Machine-Building Company).

1981: Service in the Armed Forces

In 1982-1984 served in the Armed Forces of the USSR.

1989: BashSU

In 1989 he graduated from the Law Faculty of Bashkir State University.

In 1989-1992 - Assistant of the Department of State Law and Soviet Construction, Faculty of Law, Bashkir State University.

In 1994-2003 - Senior lecturer, associate professor, deputy dean of the Faculty of Law, director of the Institute of Law of Bashkir State University.

1994: University of Bilkent

In 1994 he graduated from the magistracy of the University of Bilkent (Turkey).

2003: Administration of the President of the Republic of Bashkortostan

In 2003-2008 - Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

2008: Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation

In 2008, he headed the Department for Interaction with the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and political parties of the Office of the President of the Russian Federation for Internal Policy.

In 2009-2016 - Deputy Head of the Office of the President of the Russian Federation for Domestic Policy.

2017: Krasnogorsk City District Administration

In 2017-2018 - Head of the Krasnogorsk city district of the Moscow region.

2018: Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan

On October 11, 2018, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, he was appointed interim Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

According to the results of the elections held on September 8, 2019, he was elected head of the republic, receiving 82.02% of the vote.

September 19, 2019 took office as Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Khabirov, who has years of work in the Kremlin behind him, immediately called Bashkir nationalists extremists and refused to conduct any negotiations with them.
