When URUS - Smart Digital Services looked several years ago for ways to solve the storage problem, there were two options for choosing a platform: Kubernetes and OpenStack.
An important argument in favor of Kubernetes was relatively simple software management, the ability to more flexibly cut even iron nodes by resources.
Later, the company began experimenting with an external data warehouse. They never got to the implementation of the PVC controller, but even then it became clear that this was a big front of work for which individual specialists should be allocated.
