On March 23, 2020 the Armex of CIT company announced implementation in MDM-Fleks printing house of a system "1C: Small Business Management. Polygraphy 2". Regulation of all technology transactions – prepress, printing and postprinting – including taking into account specifics of a flexographic method of printing is executed. Time of calculation of orders in sales department is reduced by 25-30%, the speed of decision making and approvals significantly increased, loading of the equipment increased, development of personnel by turns increased by 8-12%. Exact planned cost calculation of production is provided, control of production costs is strengthened. As a result in the first months of use of a new system profitability of the enterprise grew by 10%.
The MDM-Fleks printing house works since 2000, specializes in production of the polichromatic self-adhesive label. In printing house flexographic Nilpeter printing machines, and for quite some time now the digital Konica Minolta AccurioLabel 230 printing machine work, there is a wide choice of the finishing equipment allowing to execute relief stamping and stamping by a foil, a stencil process, carving and other auxiliary transactions.
The printing house develops constantly and improved, increasing an order portfolio. Increase in production requires faster and debugged management system. At the same time it is necessary to consider trends of modern polygraphic business: in connection with fast change of advertizing campaigns circulations of printed materials become shorter, clients change design of orders more often, introducing in them elements of modern digital marketing – personalisation and variability. Emergence in printing house of the digital printing machine which is focused on printing of short and supershort circulations, demanded from the management of review of the principles of management key business process.
The information system which would allow to accelerate calculation of orders became necessary for the enterprise, to optimize loading of the equipment, to strengthen control of use of working time of employees. It was required to optimize loading of a warehouse and to increase the accuracy of accounting of supplies, to provide clear and informative reports for the management. The importance when choosing a system was given to simplicity and convenience of using.
For the solution of assigned tasks a system "was selected by 1C: Small Business Management 8. Polygraphy 2". The Armex company became the partner in implementation.
Key results of the project:
- Regulation on time and cost of all technology transactions in the field of a prepress, printing and postprinting processing of products is executed. It allowed to automate calculation of orders completely. As a result in sales department time for their calculation – on average was significantly reduced by 25-30%. It is important when calculating small orders for digital printing where time factor often is key. Clients began to be discharged quicker, the speed of decision making and efficiency of approvals in printing house increased. As the result - a customer loyalty increases, new customers became simpler to be kept.
- Job order accounting of all works coming to production is organized. In a system development of each employee and runtime of technology operations on each item of equipment is fixed. It allowed the management to see real loading of employees, to estimate labor input of technology transactions and to set fair performance standards. At a piece-work pay the personnel of printing house became more motivated, development of products by turns by each employee increased by 8-12%. It allowed to increase loading of the equipment and to provide growth of volume of the executed orders.
- There was an opportunity to keep accurate accounting of actual costs on production. The management of printing house sees a real picture of production now and can estimate cost value of each order. Controlling these indicators in printing house systematically try to obtain decrease in cost value: test and select materials, trace and optimize internal logistics, look for ways of implementation of new technologies. All this helped the enterprise to lower production costs, to achieve bigger economy in materials, to increase turnover of warehouse stocks.
- Operational work with models is organized: they are stored in information base, uniform for all divisions, now, it facilitates search and identification of works, especially at reprints. By each order it is possible to look at the previous versions of models and to find all accompanying information. Prepress-inzhenery and designers see always the current version of design, do not spend time for search, by preparation of files for printing errors are almost excluded.
- A system is integrated with 1C: Accounting 8. As a result the employees of production occupied with document creation on shipment of finished goods do not need to spend time for requests in accounting any more – the written-out documents automatically are unloaded from managerial base in accounting of printing house.
Using a system "1C: Small Business Management 8. Polygraphy 2" we wanted to receive an overall picture of production in real time with a transparent settlement system of orders and pricings. And these objectives are achieved. The economy of production became more clear, the number of orders grows, the efficiency increased, business indicators of the enterprise inspire optimism. That else pleasantly surprised me - it is debugged technology of remote implementation of the software product. All works were performed remotely, specialists Armex render us necessary consultations within technical support, our employees receive clear and competent answers, – Alexander Anfimov, the chief executive of MDM-Fleks speaks |
