2020: Start of the solution for automation of end-to-end business processes of oil and gas production

On March 25, 2020 it became known that Accenture and SAP started the solution for the companies which are engaged in exploration and production of oil and gas, developed based on SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

According to the company, the joint solution Accenture and SAP for the oil and gas industry is based on examination of the leading world oil and gas companies: for development of this solution which would become the industrial standard and automated key end-to-end business processes oil and gas production, the consortium was concluded with the companies BP, ConocoPhillips, Equinor and Shell.

The solution includes scenarios with use artificial intelligence (AI) for traffic control of money and operating activities. The solution is scaled, allows to lower operating costs and total cost of ownership and also to implement opportunities for increase in revenue. It occurs including due to the significant reduction of time of implementation and use preconfigured business processes in a system.

ConocoPhillips cooperated with SAP and Accenture is more than two years within start of this solution based on a flexible cloud computing architecture which can be scaled and provide information on processes of oil and gas production in real time.
