2020: Delivery plans of 100 thousand travel RFID cards

Mikron in 2020 will deliver more than 100 thousand travel RFID cards for Yakutsk which will work on the local transport network developed by Erlayn integrator. On March 26, 2020 Mikron reported about it.

We began work with Micron on development of regional transport infrastructures since 2008, then the plant became one of the first suppliers of RFID cards and for March, 2020 remains the reliable producer of e-tickets of domestic production. For this period we delivered more than 1.7 million contactless tickets in several regional transport projects. Use of completely domestic production minimizes risks and provides optimal price relation and qualities, noted Nikolay Obukhov, the commercial director of Erlayn LLC

In the Sakha Republic the system of contactless payment of travel by city transport was started at the end of 2016, all to the region we delivered already more than 1 million paper RFID tickets with different rates, reported Tatyana Semyonova, the CEO of Mikron of the Security Guard Printing LLC

The automated system of payment of journey with contactless tickets is a part of infrastructure of the smart city. As shows experience, transition to RFID tickets reduces to zero a possibility of counterfeit of transport documents, allows to improve accounting of a passenger traffic and provides comfort of passengers. The collected data are used for optimization of work of the existing routes and development planning of a transport network that leads to the general improvement of quality of work of city transport.
