2020: Distributed to protection of the park AI points for identification of patients with a coronavirus

At the end of March, 2020 distributed to protection in the Chinese Honyuan park AI points for identification of patients with a coronavirus. With their help security guards can check temperature of several hundred people within two minutes at distance to 1 meter.

The flash of Covid-19 on the continent led to surge in use of the AI applications which help to constrain spread of a disease. Such AI devices include the robots cleaners spraying disinfectant in departments of hospitals, applications which can trace history of trips of people and also voice AI assistants who call people to give advice on a house quarantine. Now AI points which allow to estimate the infrared image and indications of temperature of the person at meter distance joined them. Smart points will use that "reduce the probability of collecting of a large number of the people who potentially have a koronavirusny infection".

Smart Rokid glasses weigh about 100 grams and look as normal sunglasses. Each device estimates temperature of all persons, remote no more than 1 meters, and sends the automatic notification at identification of persons with fever, at the same time making digital entry. The device also supports face recognition in real time and remote joint tasks.

The developer of smart points, Rokid startup, was founded in 2014 by Misa Zhu Mingmingguom which headed research group on AI in Alibaba Group holding earlier. The company stated that it provided "several sets" of smart points in bureau of public security and the command post of traffic police of Hangzhou, the capital of the Province of Zhejiang. The startup also delivers smart points for bodies of road and transport regulation in the cities of Xuzhou and Quzhou.[1]
