2020: Idea of the warning system of repairmen of danger on the railroad

On March 27, 2020 Rostec reported that the Ruselectronics Holding entering into it created the warning system for increase in safety of scheduled works on railway tracks. A system beforehand warns repair crews about approach of the train. The device prototype already passed tests at one of stations of the Volga railroad.

Development consists of electronic blocks which are installed on locomotives and defektoskopichesky carts of repair crews and at rapprochement of objects notify the driver of the train and also the employees working at ways.

a System will allow to increase security during railway scheduled works. The need for such equipment only on the Volga railroad makes from 3 to 5 thousand sets. For March, 2020 the prototype of a system is created, tests successfully took place at the Volgograd-2 station. It has no domestic analogs.
