On March 31, 2020 TerraTech, subsidiary company of Russian Space Systems holding (RKS, is included into Roskosmos State corporation) in the conditions of the special situation connected with the world pandemic of a coronavirus (COVID-19) announced the offer to the enterprises forced to function in the mode of remote work, to estimate possibilities of technologies of remote space monitoring for remote control of territories and resource managements.

The analytics on the basis of data of the remote sensing of Earth (RSE) allows to keep track of business activity and to obtain information on business activities of the organizations worldwide without need to leave on an object.

We, as well as our many colleagues from the companies in the market of geoinformatics, note increase in demand for space pictures. Customers show keen interest in remote monitoring of infrastructure facilities to departure because of which government directives and restrictions for trips is complicated or impossible at all, told the CEO of JSC TERRA TEH of Milan Elerdov

The big advantage of space shooting consists in its opportunity to collect statistics on objects on which public data are not always unavailable. According to space pictures it is possible to monitor the changes happening on the territory of other osudarstvo, fixing reaction of economies of the countries to the happening universal processes and calls. For example, according to space shooting it is possible to collect statistics of the different countries and regions on quantity operating, which appeared or the closed wells of hydrocarbon production, input or output from operation of objects of oil infrastructure. From space the beginning of development, expansion or an output from use of large pits, cuts of mineral extraction, for example, of coal is well traced. One of the most demanded for March, 2020 is information on rates of construction and business activity of large industrial facilities (the plants, factories), the facts of freezing of construction of facilities commercial and residential and the real estate.

Space shooting becomes available practically for any company. Having ordered shooting from grouping of the DZZ satellites with the resolution about 1 meter, it is possible to cover with one picture to 20 objects, of 25 sq.km everyone (it is the small city situated near Moscow). For the organization of the retrospective analysis bases of archive pictures from 2000 to March, 2020 are used.

Thus, in the current conditions remote space monitoring is the available alternative to usual methods of monitoring providing the continuity of business processes of control of territories and resources for the benefit of state bodies and commercial structures on attractive conditions.
