On March 31, 2020 the Nokia company announced the full-scale solution "artificial intelligence as service" – AVA 5G Cognitive Operations Nokia. This solution will allow operators to transform the networks, services and business transactions with the help of functions of artificial intelligence, automation and cloud scaling. It will provide to operators information allowing to optimize network segmentation and to fulfill the obligations for service quality recorded in agreements of SLA.

According to the company, implementation of technology 5G and rapid distribution of devices for Internet of Things create serious difficulties for operators who need to cope with constantly growing complexity of networks, projects, services and functions of virtualization and network segmentation. Traditional approaches to management of networks and services do not work any more. It is necessary to implement artificial intelligence and to develop automation.

AVA 5G Cognitive Operations Nokia is the exhaustive solution "artificial intelligence as service" constructed taking into account the last achievements in the field of data processing, machine learning, telecommunications and cloud computing. It is true artificial intelligence. It is capable with an accuracy in a week to predict network and service problems. And if Nokia 5G is not possible to prevent problems, Cognitive Operations liquidates them 50% faster. Besides, this solution allows to estimate precisely impact of each problem on customers and services.

Anticipatory automatic actions allow to solve problems before they become noticeable to users and corporate applications. Pilot tests of this solution at a number of operators showed that as a result the number of client complaints and to 10% is reduced by 20% the costs connected with departure of specialists on places are reduced.

The acquired information helps the operator to segment the network correctly. The intelligent system considers network resources and decides what obligations of SLA can be fulfilled and where to look for income sources. In the future this solution will allow operators to customize processes of segmentation of networks and to offer customers the different SLA levels taking into account unique customer requirements.

The solution AVA 5G Cognitive Operations Nokia is based on a cloud technology of Microsoft Azure with a possibility of support of other private and public clouds. Besides, the Cognitive Collaboration Hubs Nokia centers will help operators to implement solutions for artificial intelligence using the cross-functional groups working worldwide, and the digital network architecture (Digital Network Architecture) will provide the general digital instruments and the approved environment facilitating data collection and implementation of digital methods of work (digitized methods of procedures, DigiMoPs).

As a result the operator gains a complete exhaustive idea of network services with correlation of events in the mode close to real time, improves visualization and controllability and also begins to use extensive library of practical examples of the solution of business problems with the help of products of Nokia for artificial intelligence. The functionality of this solution includes diagnostics, localization of failures and dynamic analysis of their influence. Using these functions the operator can pass from the solution of already evolved problems to prevention and prevention of problems of the available data.

The commercial model "artificial intelligence as service" minimizes the customer's expenses, tying payment to the volume of use and the achieved results. The most part of this solution is already available to commercial orders. All components should become available in the second quarter 2020.
